Four women labourers trapped under debris due to a landslide in Assam’s Guwahati were rescued on Tuesday evening.
The incident took place at Kahilipara area in Guwahati.
According to the locals, the women labourers were engaged in construction work to build a guard wall in the area when the incident happened.
After the incident, locals rushed to the spot and also informed police. Later, rescue teams of SDRF and police rescued the workers with the help of locals.
The labourers sustained injuries in the incident and were rushed to a nearby hospital.
